Interactive Polar Arrayツールは、最新版Rhinojewelの追加機能です。
このツールは、環状配列するオブジェクトのスケール・数・角度を数値スライダによってインタラクティブに操作できるので、デザイナーは気に入った配列が見つかるまでとことん試行錯誤することができます。
The Interactive Polar Array tool was added in a recent update of Rhinojewel. It allows designers to “play” with an array until the desired effect is achieved. This tool was developed bearing in mind the creative needs of jewelry designers since it allows one to quickly explore different outcomes and visual effects, to the point that we may sometimes discover new pleasing results we had not been able to pre-visualize. It is also a valuable tool to use when placing gemstones in circular fashion, allowing in this case to easily find the desired size of gemstones and the correct spacing between them.

このツールは従来のArray along Curveコマンドの強化版で、クリエイティブなジュエリーデザイナーの為に開発されました。
オブジェクト又は宝石をカーブに沿って配列する際に、数値スライダを使って配列数とスケールの変更をよりインタラクティブに操作できます。
The Interactive Array along Curve tool was added in a recent update of Rhinojewel. This is an enhanced version of the classic Rhino tool called Array along Curve. It has been developed bearing in mind the needs of creative jewelry designers, allowing more interactive control over the array thanks to a set of easy-to-use parametric sliders. With this tool you can array an object or gemstone along a curve and then visualize in real time how the result varies as you change the number and size of objects, the distance from the start/end of curve, or if you move the objects along the curve itself. When you are satisfied with a set of parameters you can apply them to more curves and then fine tune the adjustments.
